Thread subject: Diptera.info :: 3x Sphaeroceridae (24.02.09)

Hello!

Most frequent Sphaerocerid here (northwest Germany) is still Lotophila atra at the moment. They are mostly between 3 and 4 mm like the one on the second picture below. But the one on the first pic was nearly twice as big, over 6 mm. Could this be a female of Sphaerocera curvipes?

Of the third fly (3.5 mm) I only have bad pictures, and I don't know whether to put it into Lotophila, too, or possibly Crumomyia (?).
