Photographed in my greenhouse this morning...unfortunately looking into the sun. Is it C.uralensis with smaller red beard than C.vomitoria ?

No, I think this is
vicina - note the pale basicosta. The pale hairs are on the occiput (back of the head) - they don't count as beard. The pale front spiracle is also typical of
vicina, but beware of the odd female
uralensis which may have a pale spiracle too. I think you had a piciture of
uralensis before (see
http://www.dipter...d_id=15828) - note the dark basicosta in that specimen.

Tony is very right. I got distracted by uralensis and the cooking potatoes.
Sorry for the sloppyness

Thanks Tony..for telling me I don't even know C.vicina when I see it :|. I need to buy
Bluebottles for Dummies before posting any more I think.
Theo...what can I say...
COOKING POTATOES. Even
I couldn't have dreamt up THAT one:D. Got to be worth 10/10 for invention though :D.

That's enough self-deprecation for one day.
