Hello!
Sorry for the bad pictures. Is it possible to tell at least the family of this 2.5 mm fly from tonight at the house (northwest Germany)? Thanks in advance!

Hello, Jan Willem!

My first thoughts, whe I saw the fly were: "Drosophilidae or not Drosophilidae - that is here the question..." :|
The ubiquitous
D. obscura group came into my mind, but I remember them a little bit different... (more white belly and intersegment skins).

Hello Juergen,
Looks like Lonchaeidae to me.

My vote goes to
Drosophila. It is not Lonchaeidae as the european lonchaeids tend to have black halteres - and the shape isnt really lonchaeid-like anyway.

Hello!
Thanks to all others, too. So the good old
Drosophila again...
