Does anyone know what kind of a fly this is? I made this picture July 2, 2008 at the Buurserzand (Haaksbergen, the Netherlands). Some one told me it might be a Thyridanthrax fenestratus.

This far north must be Thyridanthrax fenestratus.

iD seems correct. De Veluwe is the only place this rare species has been found in The Netherlands. Only 3 sightings on waarneming.nl, including mine from last summer.

If you are a member of waarneming.nl, adding it to the sightings list would be appreciated.
