First post inquiry here from new member, so I hope it works ok. Fly found in Lebanon, Ct. USA on 2-9-09, late afternoon. Temp about 40 degrees.

Looking for identification for it. Possibly sarcophagid. Any help appreciated. Please explain how it was identified. Thanks
