Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Molobratia look-alike?

Hey,
I found this image on the net, labelled as Rhagio scolopaceus [sic!]. My first impression was: Molobratia teutonus! But there are some things that seem so wrong compared to photos in the gallery: the narrow tarsi, the dark antenna, the narrow frons, the dark humeri, the shape of R4+5. Is it because it is a female? Is it even an asilid?
I'm quite confused.

Aha! The thought of it being an therevid occured to me, but I missed JariF's picture in the gallery.
