Hello,

this Tabanus is from july in austria. I wrote down an estimated size of 12mm.

Can the species be determined from the picture?

Can't be sure from one shot, but I see no reason why this is not the male of Tabanus bromius.

thank you for your answer. Yes, probably it is some frequent species. I will safe it as T. cf. bromius.
