Hi, this Tachinid was found in June, E-Hungary. About the size of a bigger Sarcophaga. I have a specimen also, can take photos if needed. Thanks!

You can skip the 'possibly'. Very typical species.

Thanks for both of You. It really has smaller eyes compared to most calyptrata, as the name suggests. I found that it parasites Scarabaeidae larvae - true?
