If this really is a Calliphoridae it must be the smallest one I have ever seen (I mistook it for a Lonchaeidae, same shiny blue colour).
Can it be ID'd?

Size: ~4mm
Date: 8 September 2008
Location: On Tanacetum vulgare on a small rather dry meadow (Helsingborg, Sweden)

Thank you!

4mm is quite small, but the bend in M is very Calliphorid-like, so I think this is probably Melinda sp.

Thanks Susan. It could have been 5mm but not more seeing there is plenty of room left on that T. vulgare flower. The thought of a Calliphorid neer occured to me at the time as the fly was so deep shiny blue all over.
