Hi forum friends,
I missed you sooo much in the last months, but at the moment my spare time is too short to allow intensive dealing with insects - alas!
To break abstinence, today I'd like to show you a small fly, seen in my garden in last June. I only know that it is no Chloropid. Who knows more?
Many thanks, Sundew

Happy to see you back Claudia. ;)
Your fly is a Psilidae, I think Chamaepsila sp.

And I am happy that your help comes as fast as in former times, Stephane - many thanks indeed!
Claudia

PS. In this case it might be the carrot fly (C. rosae), eager for the carrots in our allotment gardens.

I think it is another species, but need to check.
