Hello all!
I found last June on Nerium oleander in NE Spain a small Empididae with a very strange way of moving. Thanks to the bino I understood why: in this species it is the middle leg which is modified to grasp preys. The front leg is only slightly thickened. 3mm long, legs yellow.
Is there enough informations to have only one genus left? (I really need a camera to post threads :) )

I think you're right. It is Platypalpus but it's hard to say if it really fits one of the gallery. My specimen has the thorax light grey, legs are pale yellow and the first antennal segment is yellow (others brown)
Thank you Paul!

There are many species with lots of variation between them in the characters you mention. ;)
