I'd say Clusiidae, Clusia flava.

Ah,
Stephane, thanks for the reality check, I really wanted an Anthomyzid. Nevertheless i have checked it against the female I have, and while it is much smaller and more slender, all the bristles are in the right places. so now I have a male as well.

For anthomyzids you need wet grasslands with Carex, Typha and Phragmites. They are found usually in herbs of Poaceae, Cyperaceae, Typhaceae and Juncaceae. Also near very shady edges forest you can find them, where can be found near fungi...

Jorge
I did say it was from a bog, lots of water, Juncacaea and Poacaea and other Grasses, also it was at the edge of a forest. The Sultanitsa Site is really amazing actually.

I have tried in fields of uncropped grasses, in reed beds, and other wetland grass habitats, they just keep eluding me. This is a wetland area after all RAMSA and all that, lots of graminae water edges, but no Anthomyzids.:@
