Top two look like Sapromyza (Sapromyzosoma), the bottom two I'd say Sapromyza (s.str.)

Hi,
the top one is Sapromyzosoma, another three Sapromyzosoma or Sapromyza, do you see the occipital setae of bottom two inside the triangle, Paul?

I do not really see them outside the triangle to be mnore precise. ;)

So what is the consensus? The first two I think show the same species, Sapromyzosoma.

The bottom two, are they Sapromyza or Sapromyzosoma? I see some minor differences in chaetotaxy (such as whether the apical scutellar bristles cross or not). What should I see withe the occipital bristles? I do not understand the triangle.

Hi Gabor,
The cross scutellar bristles are only broken.
Sapromyza has occipital bristles inside the occipital triangle, Sapromyzosoma outside. European Sapromyzosoma has some spots on abdomen, but sometimes there are not visible very good.
