Hi,

I need some help to identify this orange fly - I think it could be Sapromyza sp. What is strange to me are the green eyes.

Western Switzerland, 400 m above sea level, fallow strip, agricultural landscape.

Regards,

Nadine

Hi,
Sapromyzosoma (occipital setae out of triangel). The green eyes are very typical for Sapromyzosoma and sapromyza too.
