Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Melanophora roralis? => Paykulia maculata

20 july 2008, Netherlands, Havelte.

Flies sitting in the sun, on bark of Pinus sylvestris, in dry heatherland and forrest.

It concerns two flies, who belong to the same species i think.

I think Paykulia maculata (Rhinophoridae).

As for the related Melanophora: the second name is roralis.
