I met 3 individuals of this -strange to me- fly, feeding on flowers of Galactites tomentosa and Eryngium campestre.
06-09-2008, Sant Llorenç de Sous, Albanyà, Girona, Spain, UTM31T DG7678, 870 m.

Could this be Rhyncomyia zernyana?
