Hello Forum,
I don't know where to settle this fly. Family? Is an ID possible? Hagen, NRW, Germany, alder marshland, 175msm, November 19th 2008
Best regards, Josef

Hi Josef,

Tachinidae. I would have thought that it's Cyzenis albicans, but the flight time doesn't fit (strictly spring species, at least here). No other good suggestions from these data points.

Hello Jaakko, hello Forum
the lenght of the fly (the body) is about 3mm, only. Maybe this is helpful.
Best wishes, Josef

That's the one.
Elfia is similar, but dusting on thorax differs.

Very late !
