I also found a Platypezidae female on mushrooms, in Debrecen, E-Hungary (29.10.2008). The mushrooms were Armillaria mellea specimens (Honey fungus).

Hello, I don't want to be the "smartest guy" :), but I think that this is female of
Protoclythia rufa. I can see the thin bands on T2-T5, but no black triangles like in
P. modesta. I can post photo of
P. modesta, if you are intersted.

Now I remember reading this thread, if you meant those black triangules and bands on the tergites, than I see the difference between the two species. Thanks You!
