Ah. That's a Tachinid I CAN do by photo Trichopoda pennipes. Beautiful fly!

Still no signs of
Ectophasia crassipennis or
Phasia aurigera :( Seems like the Channel is a bigger obstacle than we think.

It might take 5 or 10 years.
Trichopoda is already rather common in the southern half of France and coming rapidly to the north.

It is a very beautiful fly and I will do my best to stay around to see it in the UK!
Fortunately I have managed to see several in south of France.[
