the fly was smaller than an usual Tachina fera. The basis of the Femurs is dark. Is it a male or an other species?

It's a
Tachina sp. but I am not sure which one. I have found unusually small specimens of
Tachina fera here so size isn't a good indicator when identifying tachinids - their size depends on the size/health of their host ;)

Looks like a typical fera to me. Colouration of legs is both sexual dimorph and very variable. Size is hardly relevant in parasitoids. Dwarf specimens often occur due to overcrowded hosts.

Hello Chris and Theo,
OK, thank you for your infos about the size and colouration of the legs. So a mini T. fera.
