Dear forum,

I found this little creature inside my compost bin today.
There are also many Clogmia sp. there (probably albipunctata). Is this another Psychodidae sp. and can someone further identfy it?

Best regards

Today I took two more pictures from different angles. Excuses for the poor quality but the fly is approximately 2 mm long and the limits of my ability and of my camera (not a SLR) are reached. I hope they show sufficient details to tell more about this fly.

Best regards, Niek

Anyone?

I find it resembling this picture of Jean-Claude Bernard which is described as "Clogmia species":

Could my picture show a "not further identfiable" Clogmia species too?

Best regards, Niek

No, this is not Clogmia, This is clearly Psychoda (Psychoda) sp. Many sp, need microscope to go further.
