Hello!
Is this
Phortica variegata? In the "Entomofauna germanica" it is listed with two other species (
oldenbergi and
semivirgo) in the subgenus
Phortica in genus
Amiota. What is the currently accepted placement?
Found yesterday afternoon in our garden together with many other Drosophilids (more to come here... B)) at rotting bananas (northwest Germany). Length about 3.5-4 mm.

This should be
Phortica vaiegata.
Phortica is a genus in its own right, these days.
