hi flyforum,

This Muscidae got a typical orange scutellum.
The front of the antenne is not orange coloured..
I can see three hairs next to the arista plumose, but on the antenne!

So it isn't Muscina prolapsa I think.

Is Muscina a good direction?
Perhabs Muscina levida?

size ~10mm
place: swampy reet of the Amsterdam forest.

Wow B), I think I learned 'something' on diptera.info ;)

These hairs on the antenne?!, is it common by many fly-species?

thanks a lot Stephane!
