Tachydromia, as I presume, from the building wall. Any idea what sp. this can be?

More likely are aemula or arrogans. Usually you will find umbrarum on trees.

That's interesting, I had not realised that some species prefer rocky surfaces against trees.

I guess true rocky surfaces might even attract their own species, but the species I mentioned are frequently also found on walls as they occupy the transition zone between the vegetation and vertical surfaces.
