Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Small fly with prey - Coenosia? --> Anthomyiidae

Hello!

I'm not sure, whether it was its own prey or that of a spider. Photos taken on Sept-27 on a haypack on a meadow (northwest Germany). Size of the fly about 3.5-4 mm.
