Hello,
Périgord (south of France), 30/VII/2008, 270 masl, size about 5-6mm.
With such a femur, could it be
H. femoratus?

Thanks a lot.
Looking in then book of Pjotr Oosterbroek, I learned that they are predators and I cannow see that there is a prey between the hind legs, maybe a Pterophoridae.

I think the prey is a gall midge (Cecidomyiidae).
