I found this small (appr. 6 mm) tachinid fly on our terrace this morning. Is it possible to put a genus or species name to it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The eyes are bare, are they not.

Impossible to be sure, first impression is female Blondelia nigripes (which is very easy, if you can see the venter !)

Yes, the eyes seem to be bare. Unfortunately this was the only photo it allowed. I'll check again tomorrow morning, perhaps I can find it again.
Thanks so far, Theo.
