Hi,
I'm waiting for my new book to key out the diptera-families (Pjotr Oosterbroek), but I have just got my hands on a wonderfull key for Tachinidae;
So, is this a Tachinidae? If it is a Tachinidae, don't tell me which one, so I can key this one out.:p
Many thanks, Jonas

It's a Tachinid indeed.
Can't say much more from this pic (the wing venation suggests Exoristini)

Thank you for your answer;
This afternoon I checked the fly, and after some trial-error, I got to Exorista larvarum.
Could this be correct? And should I post it to the gallery?
More tachinidae!B):p
Bye Jonas

Looks a bit too small to be
E.larvarum - and there are too many alternatives that we can't eliminate :)

Much too small.
Looks more like Bessa, but this is really speculation.

Hi,
I'll first do some easier Tachinids (Ectophasia for example). Then I will come back to this one. I don't really find it... I kind of underestimated the Tachinidae:|
But I wrote it down to reply it here when I find out which one it is.
To be continued... ;)
bye, Jonas
