what is the name of the nice fly attached to this thread?
Hagen, NRW, Germany, August 6th 2008, alder marshland, 175 msm, on Angelica sylvestris

Hello Josef, this is a Tachinidae, I think
Erycilla ferruginea.

Thank you Stephane! I still have so much to learn. By the way, I was so sure to have a Mydea corni, female.

The vein M1+2 is bent, so not Mydaea, ant too bent anyway for a Muscidae (
Musca spp. can have bent of M almost like this). But it's true this fly reminds of some
Mydaea or better,
Phaonia angelicae.
