Could it be that this fly (sice about 4mm) found in Giethoorn is a Coenosia mollicula.
Palpi black and mid femur whit ad seta.

Coenosia is correct.
I don't think it is C.mollicula.

Another try...
But I must say, that I always get confused by those ..av+ad+pv+pd on the legs, after 20 times looking, I see hairs everywhere....

Oke...I think now that it could be Coenosia rufipalpis (Meigen 1826)

Dear Joke, it is female, so it is difficult even with specimen. As for me, I can't say more.
My advise: during first steps whith key's ID, try to start with males. The best - with a seria of males.

I can't say more

The fact that I can't say more doesn't mean that your ID is wrong, it well may be Coenosia rufipalpis.
By the way, soon you will get this experiens - when your ID is correct and everything perfectly fit, you will be sure that your ID is correct without anybody's confirmation.
