On a birding trip to Corsica i made
this picture of a Exoprosopa species. Is it possible to determine this one to species level from this picture?
The picture was made on the 17th of july near Ajaccio, the west of the island.

@David: thx for determination, Corsica seems like a paradise for Bombyliidae; i saw Villa's & little black ones like this Exoprosopa everywhere. Unfortunately i didn't get the time to pay more attention to them.
@Xespok/Gabor: yes, we found the nuthatch fairly easy. We used
this trip report to find all the endemic bird species of the region, as we also did (except for some less important subspecies). We also had some of the endemic butterfly species. But except for this one i didn't really have the oportunity to look at flies. You can see some pics of my trip
here (post of 20th july 2008), the comments are in dutch though...
