Hi, is this nice fly maybe member of Pallopteridae ? July 28. 2008 Loviisa, Finlad. It was in malaise in my garden.

It is a pallopterid indeed. A female of Palloptera ustulata or P. andersoni (see http://www.dipter...ad_id=3930.

Hi, thank You so much ! I must get those papers somewhere. It can be interesting because I have some with dark tip of the wing, some with just a pale grey tip and some with clear wings. Unfortunately all females if I remember.
