Alghero Sardinia Italy 13-06-2008 dimension about 5 mm. on Cynara cardunculus.
For comparison with the gallery I think Chaetostomella cylindrica male and female.
Thanks.

Wow! Indeed, a Chaetostomella sp. ex cylindrica aggr. I am curious if they oviposite into Cynara, too? Send me coordinates of the location, if possible.

Here the geographical dates: 40.61350449783564 N, 8.243587017059326 E. H. 195 m.
I can?t answer your second question, but i suppose it because on the same plant (Cynara cardunculus) there was a lot of Terellia (I think longicauda).

Terellia you mention are almost certainly T. fuscicornis Lw. or (if the antennae are not black), an undescribed new species.

Hi Valery ,
thank you very much.
About Terellia you are in right, you are a magician.
I?ve checked my images: the fly really have the apex of antennae black.
T. fuscicornis was uncnown for me (no pictures are in the gallery). I will open a new post with images.
