Hi all got this shot today 25 July 2008 on sand dunes in Jersey C.I but when I looked up Asilidae in my Stubbs and Drake they all look the same.

I know it?s not the best angle for a id but has any one got any ideas?

After looking in the gallery how does Dysmachus trigonus sound?:| It was found on sand dunes but does Jersey C.I. fit?
