Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Bombyliidae, Hemipenthes velutina ? from Romania

Hi,

today (19.july.2008) i have visited a forest reserv in Dobrogea.
a lot of bombylids but hey where not cooperate with me getting photo of them.
succeded with one (just one angle),

is this Hemipenthes velutina? ... size 7-8 mm.
