Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Chrysops from north France

hello evrybody,
i caught this fly in the dunes near a pond last week end (31 V 2008)
on France/Belgium frontier

i think it's a Chrysops but i don't know criteras i have to watch to identify it ....
could someone help me ?

Ch. relictus female, the abdominal pattern, especially on tergite 2, is characteristic.
