Sorry, gentlemen. Frankly, nothing to say but "
Platystoma sp." again. :( The genus needs revision in the Near East. Looks like
P. arcuatum Loew, the species common in Lebanon, Israel and Syria, but there are many questions still.

I agree with Valery:
P. arcuatum Loew. I have numerous specimens from Turkey that resemble this photograph and have little doubt about the identity. Indications are that the distribution is wider ... possibly as far East as Iran.
