Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Temnostoma?

Hello,
in forest, near a fallen dead tree, I observed what appeared to be a mating in flight, and luckily, one of the individuals landed in front of me. I believe it was a Temnostoma meridionale. Is that correct?

Yes, Temnostoma meridionale is correct and it's a male.
