Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Chironomidae sp.? => Chironomus sp.

Hello everyone,

Can anyone help identify this midge more precisely? I photographed it on April 10, 2026, in a garden next to a pond in southwestern Germany. I estimate its size to be about 10 mm. Could it be Chironomus plumosus?

Could be Chironomus. I don't know species.
