Hi all,

I took this fly while it was sunbathing on the south-facing wall of my house. The fly is 7mm long from its head to the apex of its abdomen.
I think about Bactromyia aurulenta but i'm little lost in the Tschorsnig and Herting key of Tachinids of Central Europe.

Area : North of France (Dept 59)

Some help would be appreciated :)

Yes - looks good for Bactromyia aurulenta! And I think it's a female.
