Old photo, taken on 25_09_2016, near Szeged, Hungary.
Can something more be said about this fly?

Thank you for any comments in advance!

Greetings,
Henrik

Hard to be sure from this single photo, but I try a comment:
- 4 dc post?
- 3rd antennal segment < front femur
- tegula and basicosta reddish/yellowish
- tergite 2 with 2 dorsal marginals
could be S. geniculata.

Well, it is a Siphona. Parafacial a bit narrow for geniculata. Might be flavifrons. Thrn again, might be not ....
