Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Dilophus febrilis ?

hi Flyforum,

Today I found this Dilophus sp. on some flowers.
It was getting in to these blosom so hard to see.., but I could help it out and took a picture.

I' am thinking of Dilophus febrilis, but don't know if this is the correct fly-period?

Do you agree with Dilophus febrilis ?

no doubt female Dilophus febrilis, the darkened wings are characteristic.
It is amazingly early, though I have one record even from the beginning of March.
