Hello,
This
Heterodoxa species has been collected in a Malaise trap on Nuku Hiva (Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia).
It does not agree with the 4 described species, all being single island endemics and moreover none of which being described from Nuku Hiva.
Does anyone work on the Ulidiidae of the Indo-Pacific region and would be interested in working on this very most likely new species ?
I have 7 males and 13 females.

No doubt,
uapouae. If it were an undescribed species, the task could be more difficult.
Are you going to keep it in alcohol and extract DNA then? We are working now xactly with this trbe of Ulidiidae, and the Oceanian genera of the Lipsanini are not represented by fresh or recent material at all.

I agree that the wing pattern on the apical half fits with
uapouae, but in the basal half it is quite different, and consistent in all the specimens I have.
Anyway, I can send you several males and females as I have no plan to study or barcode them in the next future.
