Hello,
this (supposed) male Myathropa seems to be parasitized by something resembling a Strepsiptera! Is that possible?

I do not see what you mean, if you mean the black ball at the tip
of the abdomen, it is the male epandrium (part of the genitalia).

The abdominal segments are distorted. (I have seen similar in
Helophilus.) As far as I know this is likely to be a developmental problem, rather than a fungus or parasite.
