Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Syrphus torvus?

Dear forum,

I took these pictures today in my garden.
Is it Syrphus torvus? If not, please advise which one, if it can be identified from this picture.

yep, it is a male Syrphus torvus.
the only species with hairy eyes!
