Have a nice Day. One Question please. Is it possible to identify this Phaonia species? Or is it impossible to identify Phaonia species from a photo anyway?
It was also frequently found at another location, a vineyard. I would be very grateful for a reply.
Discovery data: Austria, Lower Austria, Tattendorf, 220m, parish church wall, 11.10.2025, size: 7-9mm

Kind regards Karl.

It is a Pollenia. And also no Phaonia, like stated in the subject line.
