Hello,
I caught this Tabanus in the coast of south britanny in july (reed bed).
I have a doubt between eggeri and bovinus.

The first criteria in the key is the shape of the facet. Here, we don't have a clear limit between small facet and large facet (but all factets are not the same size...).
In sudeticus (for exemple here : https://www.flick...9593547525), the limit is clear.
Pattern of abdomen seem to be more correct for eggeri, also the colour of tergites (no dark median stripe).
R5 and M1 not joined.
