Thread subject: Diptera.info :: ID - Gymnosoma species?

I found this Gymnosoma in south Sweden 25-09-18. The genus Gymnosoma is a fairly new group in Sweden.

The location is warm with sandy slopes faceing the south.


I have other images if needed.

I think it's a male Gymnosoma clavatum.

If that is the case, ID should be straightforward checking the genitalia
