Good evening everyone,
I recently found this clutch of eggs on a thuja. I think it's from a bug.
Does anyone have any idea what species it could be?
Best regards, Volkmar

I think you are right, should be Noctua pronuba ! https://www.mikroskopie-forum.de/index.php?topic=27131.0

PS: what puzzles me is the fact that the eggs were laid on Thuja, but this plant isn't on the menu of pronuba; there's another species, Noctua comes, that feeds on it. That should be it.
Kind regards, Volkmar

You mean N. comes? Yes, that's a polyphagus one and could be the mother!

Yes, of course, it should be "comes" :-), I'll correct it above. Thank you.
