Hello,
I found a Chenopodium specimen with some fly larvae feeding inside the leaves, and I decided to collect them. After three weeks, I obtained some adult flies.
Could you tell me more about them, please?
Romania, July 2025, submontane area, near a village

Several species of Pegomya  make such mines on  Chenopodium; from the photos  it is hardly  possible to tell  which Pegomya is concerned.

Calyptrata specialists could advise you better. A study of a male specimen would be probably helpful, larval  cephalopharyngeal skeleton  can also provide some cues.
